This Climate Week event by The New School’s Tishman Environment and Design Center focused on the impacts of the climate crisis on people of African descent across the globe along with the topics of diasporic solidarity, how to build community in the face of multiple crises and how we build resiliency through these challenges.

Speakers Pato Kelesitse, Colette Pichon Battle and Minister Luis Gilberto Murillo shared insights on how people of African descent can build community and solidarity in the face of the climate crisis and the racism that affects their communities.
