Emily has worked as a law library clerk, bread baker, bakery owner, and sous chef, mostly in Tulsa, Oklahoma and sometimes in Brooklyn, New York. Emily’s unpaid work life has focused on supporting LGBTQIA youth and feeding folks experiencing food insecurity. She brings a combination of knowledge/information management skills and practical experience running kitchens to her role as Operations Manager for Taproot Earth.
Emily lives with her wife (also named Emily), their elderly dog Flossie, and quite a few plants in Tulsa, just down the street from where she was born.
