Chey Morgan (They/Them) is an Organizing Fellow for Taproot Earth. Chey is a citizen of the United Keetoowah Band of Cherokees and an Oglala Lakota descendant. Chey grew up in the small rural Cherokee community, Stilwell, Oklahoma. Their organizing work towards climate justice is informed by their ancestors, ancestral lands, Indigenous sovereignty, community and being a good ancestor to future generations. Chey lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma with their teenage child.
