Her job duties include building and maintaining strong relationships with media and frontline movement partners to facilitate quality reporting within Taproot Earth’s public profile and professional image. Jade comes from a diverse news background, with experience in print, broadcast, digital and graphic design. As a TV producer, she covered politics, weather, crime, national, and local news in Tallahassee, Fort Myers and Houston. In 2023, she received a Lone Star Emmy award nomination, for her work covering a tornado emergency near Houston. While in news, Jade led several teams, and helped to increase viewership and ratings in numerous newsrooms. Jade received her Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism from Florida A & M University in 2019. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Jade currently resides in Dallas, Texas with her fiancé, baby boy, and her wonderful shih tzu, Jaxon.
