Chris (he/him) is the Climate Disaster Recovery Manager for Taproot Earth. He is a United States Navy Veteran and brings thirty years of industrial and safety experience to his work on equitable disaster recovery. In 2016, Chris became an entrepreneur focused on Black community economic development. He earned his Associate of Applied Science in Business Administration-Accounting from Tarrant County College in Texas. Chris has been a community leader and youth mentor since 2003 in Alabama, Arkansas, and Texas.
Chris is a native of Slidell, Louisiana, and currently resides in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area of Texas. He and his wife Ty have two sons and one granddaughter.
