Kate Barron-Alicante is the Director of Impact at an independent financial firm and B Corp, supporting clients to leverage finance for climate and social justice. Kate’s perspective is deeply informed by 15 years in social justice & social change work, including years working in the Hurricane Katrina recovery in South Louisiana. Kate is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and holds a master’s in international development from the School of Oriental & African Studies in London. She’s a mother of two and the daughter of an Irish immigrant union worker father and a white South Louisianan mother and lives in Philadelphia.
