Nathaniel “Toby” Thompkins (He/Him), is the Interim Chief of Staff for Taproot Earth and supports all of the development of infrastructure and operations for the organization and our frontline communities. Toby brings over 30 years of international development, leadership and organizational development, and philanthropic experience on over three continents including having worked for non-profit, for-profit, philanthropic, and social impact organizations including Tides, Twenty-First Century Foundation, USAID, Accenture, Amoco Oil, Baxter Healthcare, Kraft General Foods, and others. Toby is also a published author, speaker, and tech entrepreneur.Toby has an undergraduate degree in Psychology/Political Science and a Master of Public Administration. He resides in Lisbon, Portugal.
